On October 30-31, 2025, a scientific-practical conference dedicated to the 130th anniversary of the outstanding scientist and well-known public figure, Honored Scientist, Academician Mustafa Agabey oglu Topchubashov will be held at the Azerbaijan Medical University.

On the 1st day of the conference, the official opening ceremony and the scientific conference of the faculty will be held, and on the 2nd day, the republican forum of surgical residents and conferences of the TEC will be held.

The materials of the conference will be published in a collection.

The submitted theses must meet the following requirements:

• The theses must be dedicated to the most urgent problems of modern surgery and medical fields related to surgical pathologies, be original and not repetitive
• The theses must be written in Azerbaijani or English
• The volume of the thesis must be 3000-3100 characters (without spaces), typed in A4 format with “Arial” font, font size 12, line spacing 1, margins from the left – 2 cm, from the right – 1 cm, from the top – 1.5 cm, from the bottom – 2 cm
• The thesis must consist of the following sections in sequence: introduction, purpose of the research, materials and methods, results, discussion/conclusion and keywords, each starting with a paragraph (1 cm).
• The title of the thesis must be given in capital letters at the beginning of the thesis. The next line (1 space down) should indicate the authors of the thesis (surname, first name and patronymic - in full, not abbreviated), and the next line (1 space down) should indicate the name of the department where the authors work (for those from other institutions - the name of the institution, then the department or department).
• The number of authors in each thesis should not exceed 4, and one author should not be the author of more than 2 theses
• The electronic version of the theses should be sent to the e-mail address [email protected] by September 30, 2025
• The printed version of the theses should also be submitted to the Department of Scientific Research Management of AMU by September 30, 2025, with the signature of the head of the department or scientific advisor on the first page
• Theses that do not meet any of the above requirements will not be accepted for publication.
